Passion for art is in Cassia‘s blood. Her grandmother was a painter, her mother a designer. Her childhood was full of creative explorations. She studied Advertising and Fashion Design in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her whimsical illustrations in pencil, watercolor, and pastels on textured paper,are being developed into cards and posters. A fascination with shapes and stones drew Cassia to sculpting in metal and jewelry design. She works with sterling silver, organic materials and stones from Brazil.

For the past three years Cassia has shown her jewelry in San Francisco Open Studios and City College Exhibit and Sale. Last year Cassia added silver flowers and crystals to her line of designs. This year she is working with more plants and natural shapes and is bringing back the ever popular stone rings, and chain loops, as well as a number of new one-of-a kind pieces.
